James Duke, Business Development Manager, had a very interesting road trip back in April when he and some friends completed a ‘gumball/Top Gear style’ rally through Spain in classic cars.
James has worked to restore an old classic VW Beetle and certainly drew attention as they drove through Spanish towns – including some admiration from the local Garda!
They drove nearly 2000 miles during his journey which started at Plymouth Harbour and took in Santander, San Vincent de la Barquera, Potes ‘over the Cantabrian mountains’, Leon, Valladolid, Salamanca , Madrid, Zaragoza, Canfranc Estacion, Oloron Sainte Marie ‘over the Pyrenees’, Saint Jean-Pied-de-Port, Bilbao, Donostia and San-Sebastian.
