Dominic Lewis, Flexi Hire Coordinator joined Days Fleet in March 2022.
1. What is your role within Days Fleet?
My role in Days Fleet is ‘Flexi Hire Co-Ordinator’ – I process bookings for client’s short-term vehicle hire through various suppliers. I manage these bookings with the various branches and suppliers to make sure everything goes smoothly and I liaise with our clients for any changes or requests they have and provide them with information in regards to their current hires.
2. What do you enjoy most about your role?
I would say I enjoy how dynamic it can be, each day you don’t really know what to expect when it comes to requests or problems that need solving so it does keep you on your toes.
3. What would you like to achieve in 2022?
Professionally I would like to help Flexi Hire and push it to what it’s capable of and so far, it seems to be going in the right direction.
My personal goals in 2022, I am looking to do a bodybuilding show in September and I start my prep the 6th of June, another goal would be getting my house ready to sell by the end of the year which is mostly painting and decorating.
4. What’s your biggest achievement?
My biggest achievement would be coming 2nd in the NABBA Wales 2019 Bodybuilding Show, that involved a long preparation of 18 weeks. I hadn’t done anything like that before and received great feedback and encouragement to do more of it in the future.
5. What was your first job?
My first job was when I was 14 years old working in a local pub which also had a catering company. I was on £3.50 an hour and we would cater for the pub but also serve Sunday roasts and assist with weddings – I have always been in a job since.
