2024 set a record for fines received but 2025 has beaten it……. Throughout 2025 we will have received approximately 9,600 fines for vehicles on our fleet, equivalent to an average of nearly 40 fines per working day.
Our team are on hand to process the fines but it would be great to reduce this number in 2026. One third of all fines received are Parking Charge Notices, nearly 20% are speeding fines and 10% Penalty Charge Notices identified by CCTV in moving traffic i.e. bus lanes, waiting areas etc. We even received over 70 fines for one single vehicle this year………
So many of these fines are avoidable but yet huge costs have been incurred by both Day’s Fleet and our customers. Do you know how many points all of your drivers have on their licence?
