Fixed Penalty Notices on the increase

2023 has started with a sharp increase in the amount of fixed penalty notices issued to drivers of our vehicles.

As we are the registered keeper, fines will be directed to us by the police, local authority or private parking companies. Liability for these will then be transferred in to the name of our client for you to process internally where possible.

The first 2 months of 2023 saw 1720 fines received by Day’s Fleet, compared to 1132 in 2022 and 787 in 2021. Obviously travel, including business travel, has increased again following the pandemic but it’s always worth monitoring what you are receiving and for what.

Day’s Fleet offers a complete Driver Licence Checking service which can ensure that the data you hold on your drivers is always correct and help keep on top of how many fixed penalty points your drivers have. Contact our Client Support Team via [email protected] for more information.
