Tyre assistance

Days Fleet offers a premium tyre replacement policy operated by ATS Euromaster.

Where possible Michelin tyres will always be fitted to Days Fleet vehicles.

ATS Euromaster provides replacement tyres and tyre repairs where appropriate, subject to the service being included within your vehicles contract with us.

Work can be carried out at any ATS Euromaster with no need to pre-book. Their pre-bookable mobile service is also available by calling our DriverLine service on 0845 296 4423 and choosing option 2.

Regular Tyre Checks:

Check Tyre Pressure once a week

Under inflated tyres can overheat and lead to poor road handling the road.

Over or under inflated tyres suffer more damage than those with the correct pressure and need to be replaced more regularly

Under inflated tyres have increasing rolling –resistance that require more fuel to maintain the same speed – correct tyre pressure helps to maintain optimum fuel efficiency – reducing costs and befitting the environment.

Check tread depths once a week

The legal minimum tyre tread depth in Europe is 1.6 mm across the central three-quarters of the tread width and round its entire circumference.

Check the depth of the main tread grooves in several places across and around the tyre, using the gauge included in your Days Driver Pack and as instructed by its manufacturer.

Tyres also have tread wear indicators moulded into the base of the main grooves. When the tread surface is worn to the same level as these indicators, the tyre is at the legal limit and should be replaced  – call Driverline on 0845 296 4423 or visit your nearest ATS Euromaster

Check for external tyre damage once a week such as cuts, lumps and bumps as these can cause tyre failure.
