Days Fleet raises thousands for charity

Over two thousand pounds was raised for charity in 2016 thanks to the efforts of Days Fleet staff.

Staff held a variety of fund raising events throughout the year including buying snacks at the office ‘tuck shop’, a Christmas raffle and auction along with other fundraising activities.

In October, staff put their baking skills to the test by baking a variety of delicious cakes and treats which were sold around the office in aid of Macmillan Cancer Research’s World’s Biggest Coffee Morning.

Other charities who have benefitted from the fundraising throughout the year include the Swansea-based Tŷ Olwen Trust, Marie Curie Cancer Care and Cystic Fibrosis.

Client Services Coordinator, Donna Read who runs our tuck shop and is at the heart of our fundraising said:

“I am so impressed with the efforts of all of my colleagues and am extremely proud that we have raised over £12,500 since 2010 for so many worthy causes.”

We would like to thank everyone who has supported our charity efforts, along with a huge thanks to Donna.
