We are delighted to have raised over £5,100 to date in our support for the Ty Olwen Hospice Trust, who are one of our nominated charities.
For the fourth year in succession the Swansea-based Tŷ Olwen Trust is being supported and Marie Curie Cancer Care will also receive a share of the proceeds for the second year running.
Ty Olwen Hospice Trust, which was formed in 1981 with the purpose of supporting the Tŷ Olwen Hospice, a specialist palliative care unit at Morriston Hospital in Swansea and its community and hospital teams.
Marie Curie Cancer Care is one of the UK’s largest charities. Employing more than 2,700 nurses, doctors and other healthcare professionals, it provided care to more than 31,000 terminally ill patients in the community and in its nine hospices last year and is the largest provider of hospice beds outside the NHS.
In 2015 we raised over £2,500 for the Tŷ Olwen Trust, Marie Curie Cancer Care and the RNLI.
Continuing on the charity front, our office tuck shop has recently celebrated its 6th birthday and has raised a huge £7,154 for good causes in the process over the course of the last six years.
A big thanks to Donna who runs the tuck shop and everyone who has supported it.
