Our sales team were recently paid a visit by Michael Haigh from Jaguar Land Rover who came to show us the new Jaguar F-Pace.
The interior takes much of its style from the XF and XJ saloons, making use of the same easy-to-use buttons and interfaces. Every F-Pace gets an eight-inch touchscreen in the middle of the centre console as standard, with further infotainment options available. A WiFi hotspot can connect to up to eight devices for internet access on the go, while the car also comes with USB ports as well as Bluetooth for pairing with the F-Pace’s infotainment system.
Our National Sales Manager, Tim Johnson had the opportunity to drive the car and was impressed: “The car that I drove was the F Pace 2.0d R Sport Auto, this model is likely to be a popular choice for company car drivers who are entitled to a vehicle of this type. It is competitively priced and has one of the lowest Co2 values in the range.”
“The car was very well equipped, very responsive and for a vehicle of this size handled well with the automatic transmission delivering smooth and seamless acceleration.”
Practicality in terms of bootspace is also impressive. The F-Pace gets a 605-litre carrying capacity in the back, besting the likes of the Range Rover Evoque (575 litres), Mercedes GLC (550 litres), Porsche Macan (500 litres), as well as the 540 litres you’ll find in the back of the Audi Q5. The loading bay can be expanded to 1,740 litres with the rear seats folded.
F-Pace is extremely competitive with cars such as the BMW X3 and Porsche Macan and is a welcome addition to the SUV category.
