We are delighted to announce that over £3,000 was raised for charity in 2017, thanks to the efforts of Days Fleet staff.
Staff held a variety of fundraising events throughout the year including buying snacks at the office ‘tuck shop’, a Christmas jumper day and other fundraising activities including an office darts tournament.
In October, we participated in the National Autistic Society’s Autism Hour, a campaign for businesses to raise awareness and gain a better understanding of autism.
Staff used the event as a fundraising opportunity by selling cakes and treats with all proceeds going to Stepping Stones Children’s Centre, a Child Development Centre helping children aged 0 – 4 with autism and learning difficulties, as well as other diagnosed and emerging disabilities.
Other charities who have benefitted from our fundraising throughout the year include the Swansea-based Tŷ Olwen Trust and Marie Curie Cancer Care.
At the heart of our fundraising efforts is Client Services Coordinator, Donna Read who said: “I am extremely proud that the total raised in 2017 has surpassed all previous records and we have now raised over £16,000 for good causes.
“A big thank you to our staff and those who have supported our charity efforts throughout the year.”
