Job Description

Due to its continued success, Days Fleet is looking for a Business Development Manager to complement its existing team.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in finding and developing new clients, as well as having good organisational, communication and client management skills.

You will need to be self-motivated and results orientated with the ability to work to and exceed all KPI’s, monthly and annual sales targets.

The successful candidate will be supported by an experienced client support and management team.

Days Fleet provides vehicle leasing and fleet management solutions to the public and private sector across the UK. The company’s main objective is to offer high level, bespoke client services whilst encouraging innovation, efficiency and professionalism.

For this Business Development Manager role, we are looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:

  • Have a proven track record in new business acquisition / current portfolio of clients
  • Knowledge of motor/fleet industry and ancillary products
  • Ensure that all targets and business objectives are consistently met and exceeded through the conversion of an extensive prospect pipeline
  • Proactively sell contract hire and bespoke fleet management solutions, ancillary products and services across a broad range of industries and sectors
  • Manage, grow and maximise sales opportunities and profitability along with delivering the highest level of customer service to existing and potential clients
  • To update our in-house CRM on all activity surrounding that prospect/client
  • Excellent communication skills both on the telephone and face-to-face
  • A confident presenter who can deliver tailored proposals to prospective clients of all sizes
  • Develop a precise understanding of client’s fleet policies in order to maximise sales and profitability

Job Description

Days Fleet is one of the largest independent vehicle leasing companies in the UK and are looking for a ‘Vehicle Logistics Manager’ to join the team and take responsibility for managing the delivery and collection of lease vehicles and a team of nationwide drivers.

Key tasks of the Vehicle Logistics Manager

  • Managing a team of approximately 20 vehicle driver/appraisers, prioritising day to day activities to ensure that deadlines are achieved, with a focus on an exceptional client experience
  • Plan and schedule vehicle collections and deliveries across the UK for our private and public sector clients
  • Managing and resolving internal and external queries
  • Measure and report on departmental performance weekly
  • Proactively look at cost saving measures without detracting from client service levels.

Attributes and Experience required of the Vehicle Logistics Manager

  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to work with a ‘can do’ attitude
  • Previous experience in logistics or direct logistics management an advantage
  • Highly organised with a good attention to detail
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to converse with customers, build relationships, work with and manage client expectations
  • Proficient in using Microsoft office packages
  • Experience in managing vehicle movements would be advantageous

Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to join Days Personal Choice at a time when Personal Contract Hire is a growing market.

You may be working in a sales environment in a different sector possibly financial services, insurance, mobile phone, fuel card or even in a call centre customer service role. For us it’s all about the right people with the right personality to help customers find a great deal on their next personal lease car.

Your role will involve generating sales leads and managing incoming enquiries whilst dealing with them throughout the entire sales process.

The position is office / telephoned based but experience in a face-to-face sales position would be an advantage.

Sales experience from within the automotive sector would be beneficial to your application but not necessary.

For this role, we are looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:

  • Ability and desire to sell
  • Excellent telephone manner
  • Confidence and tenacity to pursue leads, overcome obstacles, and secure deals
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently but also as part of a team
